There are three completely different ways to get steel ingots in this modpack.
Simple Crafting[]
Steel dust can be made just by crafting.
When crafted in this way, each steel ingot costs 4 coal and 1 iron ingot, but there are more resource efficient ways to make steel shown below.
Metallurgic Infuser (Recommended Method)[]
Steel dust can also be made in a Metallurgic Infuser. It requires coal on the left slot of the metallurgic infuser, and Enriched Iron to be turned into steel dust. The raw materials to make each steel ingot are half of a redstone, half of an iron ingot, and one coal. This is cheaper than the crafting way above, but requires electricity and takes more time to make.
Blast Furnace[]
This method of making steel only requires one coal and one iron ingot, and also takes the longest. Steel ingots are made this way by putting coal coke in a blast furnace and using it to smelt iron ingots.
